Up for sale is a very nice Thompson Model 500 fly reel. This reel is in great shape and it honestly doesn't look like it was used much. Please note, the winding plate on this reel has a slight rub when reeling. It looks like the winding plate sits on the frame with a very minor slant, which I’m guessing is causing the rub (if you look closely at the winding plate in the 6th photo, you can see how it sits a tad uneven). You can still fish with this reel as-is; however, I would suggest addressing the rub first. Aside from that, the finish is fairly clean, and it is free of any major markings. This reel comes with the box and the paperwork. Setup for right-hand retrieve and it has a diameter of 3 3/8”. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.

in the box. All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC pipe.
I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
• International shipping is done through the Global Shipping Program.
