This new, enhanced version of the portable wonder features upgraded software that provides a number of improvements to the original version of the OP-1 Synthesizer. It combines a synthesizer, drum machine, sampler, and four-track recorder all into one. The unique OP-1 color-coded interface with an OLED display makes shaping your sound and recording your masterpiece easy and fun. No additional software or drivers required—just plug and play. Rechargable via USB; 16 hour battery life.
Features of the new, enhanced OP-1 Synthesizer include:
    Upgraded software
Shift + stop toggles for editing
    Improved pattern sequencer performance
Fixed bugs that effected synth sample patches and lifting clips from a loop
    Fading for tape/mixer mutes.
Teenage Engineering’s OP-1 reimagines what an instrument can look and feel like, and enables musicians to create and record outside the confines of a studio. The Stockholm-based company was founded in 2005, and the OP-1 was released five years later after being created in a minimalist garage space. In 2012 it won a Design S Award in Sweden for its intuitive and accessible engineering and design; musicians who use it include Beck (a beta tester), Depeche Mode, and Bon Iver, whose singer-songwriter Justin Vernon brought the small synth everywhere when writing the 2016 album 22, A Million.
