Original Civil War British Enfield SOCKET Bayonet
Description
•    This is an original Civil-War, British Enfield,  SOCKETT Bayonet with original scabbard, which is excellent condition.
•    The overall length is 25” and the blade dimension is 21.5”
•    Blade has the following markings – from top to bottom:
    Capital letter R
    Small tent-like symbol
    Capital letters WD
    British Crown with E 51
    11/87
    The number 300
•    The scabbard is all leather with solid brass protective tip and solid brass hilt.
•    The scabbard brass protective tip has the following markings:
    Small tent-like symbol
    Capital letters WD
•    The scabbard brass protective hilt has the following markings:
    Small tent-like symbol
    Capital letters WD
    British Crown with E 39
